About Me:

I am a mother of two adult children and two step-children as well as an RN (mostly labor/delivery) that became interested in photography by two means a number of years ago.

​

First, I've always tried to take many, many photographs of my children. Everyday happenings, pretend photo shoots, sporting events, dance recitals and more have been my personal canvases over the years. I always seemed to take a lot of photographs, but I was never happy with how they looked. Thought...learn more about photography and maybe I can remedy this!

Secondly, I worked with an inspiring nurse who did photography as a hobby. I asked her to take some photographs of my daughter in her dance costume and was blown away by how they looked! I have used her as a role model in looking for that special something in every picture, in looking for the unique part of a portrait and for learning more about photography rather than just pointing and clicking my camera since.

Portraits of children, adults (senior portraits, individuals portraits, maternity photos, engagements sessions), babies (newborn sessions, birthdays), families and even pets (mostly dogs) have been part of my portfolio as well as capturing some fabulous wedding photography.
